Sicurezza sul lavoro: gli obblighi del lavoratore

La Sicurezza sul Lavoro è un’attività di prevenzione e protezione che permette di ridurre i rischi per la salute dei lavoratori. Questi ultimi, che svolgano la loro attività in aziende pubbliche o private, hanno degli obblighi da rispettare, come accade per il datore di lavoro.

Come riporta il D.Lgs. 81/2008, che considera il lavoratore come parte attiva del nella sicurezza sul lavoro, ogni dipendente deve avere un comportamento consono perché possa

prendersi cura della propria salute e sicurezza e di quella delle altre persone presenti sul luogo di lavoro […]. 

Vediamo ora più nel dettaglio quali attività sono indispensabili per una maggiore sicurezza sul lavoro da parte dei lavoratori.


1.Rispetto delle norme

Dalle istruzioni del datore di lavoro, dei dirigenti e preposti fino agli obblighi previsti nei luoghi di lavoro: il dipendente non deve compiere di propria iniziativa manovre al di fuori delle proprie competenze. Inoltre deve adottare un comportamento collaborativo con il datore.


2.Utilizzo corretto delle attrezzature e DPI

Come disposto dall’art. 20 e 78 del Testo Unico sulla Sicurezza sul Lavoro, il lavoratore deve utilizzare i DPI forniti dall’azienda, che naturalmente devono essere a norma e devono riportare tutti i dati utili, come ad esempio modello e taglia.

Tuttavia, oltre ad utilizzare correttamente le attrezzature e i Dispositivi di Protezione Individuale il lavoratore deve averne cura, tenendoli puliti e in buone condizioni e comunicare eventuali difetti che ne impediscono l’utilizzo.


3.Sottoporsi periodicamente ai controlli sanitari

La visita medica è indispensabile e obbligatoria.  Perché? Solo in questo modo, si conoscerà lo stato di salute e l’idoneità fisica del dipendente per la mansione che dovrà svolgere.

Entrando più nello specifico, esistono diverse tipologie di visite mediche:

  • Preventiva: per verificare l’idoneità per lo svolgimento di una specifica mansione;
  • Periodica: una volta all’anno (o quando ritenuto opportuno dal medico) per verificare lo stato di salute dei dipendenti;
  • Su richiesta del lavoratore
  • Per il cambio della mansione: per verificare se le nuove mansioni da svolgere siano adatte allo stato di salute ;
  • Di fine rapporto: quando stabilito dalla norma


4.Prendere parte a sessioni di formazione e addestramento
